Dating from prehistory to the present, this unique salt that you now use to flavor your meals has come a long way for you.

Its journey, which dates back some 225 million years, gave this salt unique properties. The Sea of ​​Facility (Tethys), which was over Anatolia at that time, accumulated underground and dried up as the earth took its present form over time, forming pure and natural salt rocks. These salt rocks, which are now located underground in the Kırıkkale Delice region, have retained all their naturalness for millions of years thanks to their hidden location.

Nowadays, this salt, formed by the hot water that comes from the fault rupture that melts these salt rocks and collects the minerals of the red earth and brings them to the surface of the earth in liquid form, comes to the kitchen with all its flavor and naturalness ends his years-long journey by adding flavor to his life.

When we discovered our unique source, which even today preserves its 5000-year-old naturalness and taste, a single thought came to our minds: to bring this unique taste to your tables while preserving all its naturalness!

How can we connect this unique resource with people? How can we teach that the perception that salt is salt is wrong and that what really matters is the correct and natural consumption of salt? We looked for answers to their questions and took action.

We dedicated 3 years to research and development and analysis and in 2018 we put our brand on a solid foundation. We deliver the salt that nature offers us to your table in its purest form by crystallizing it in sunlight without any manufacturing process and packaging it under hygienic conditions.

HOW IS MAYI SALT MADE?

As Mayi Salt, we are ambassadors of nature to deliver our natural spring salt that nature offers us in its purest and purest form. We only produce our salts with the help of nature, crystallizing and drying them in the sunlight in our hygienic greenhouse basins. When producing it, we make sure that our salt remains in its most natural and healthy form without any chemical processing, and we deliver it to your tables without losing any of its naturalness by packing it in healthy boxes.

WHY MAYİ SALT?

All research has shown that the best salts in the world are obtained from spring water... Mayi salt is one of these values.

COMPLETELY HANDMADE

The thermal water from the fault rupture rises 1.3 km and rises to the earth's surface. This water gets its salinity from the salt rock. At 300 meters altitude, it becomes rich in minerals by absorbing salt minerals from the richest soils in Anatolia. The salinity of this spring water is 28.4%.

We wash or bleach our salts, which spontaneously crystallize in the sun, as they retain their naturalness and purity. We also stay away from additives that are used to prevent clumping which are quite harmful to our body. Our fine salt does not clump due to its structure.

Other types of salt are affected by environmental factors and marine pollution and are polluted by exposure to nearby industrial waste. Microplastic and heavy metal levels are therefore unavoidable. Due to the geostrategic location of the mineral salt (600 m above sea level and far from industrial plants), it still retains its purity, which was created 200 million years ago.
