INGREDIENTS:
- 3 bananas
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter (you can also use olive oil or coconut oil)
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
For decoration:
- 1 banana
- sea-salt
- Cocoa beans or chocolate pieces
TIPS:
It is important to check the cooking time of the cake with a knife. If the knife comes out clean, the cake is finished baking.
You can add some sea salt to balance the sweetness of the bananas.
PREPARATION:
Melt the butter and set aside to cool.
Peel the bananas, place them in a large bowl and mash them with a fork.
Add the eggs and stir them in with a whisk.
When the butter has cooled, add it to the eggs and stir well.
Mix all the dry ingredients in another bowl and slowly add them to the egg mixture.
Stir just until all the ingredients are mixed and pour the batter into a baking pan.
To prevent the dough from sticking, you can grease the baking pan or use baking paper.
Cut a banana in half and carefully place the halves, cut side up, in the center of the mold.
Add some sea salt and some cocoa beans or chocolate pieces.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 35-45 minutes.
Baking time may vary depending on the size of the pan and your oven. Always check if the cake is done with a knife.
If the knife comes out clean, the cake is finished baking.
Bon appetit!
